At Gili BB, we celebrate Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage.
Batik is a centuries-old wax-resist dyeing technique recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Each lantern is carefully handcrafted using authentic batik cotton stretched over a lightweight foldable metal frame inspired by traditional Asian lanterns.
Because every piece is handmade, slight variations in pattern and color make each lantern truly one of a kind.
More than a decorative object, it is a handcrafted piece of Indonesian culture.
